The patent, titled “Device for Mobile Device Temperature Control” known by its trade name, Atmos®, adds to GPSLockbox’s industry-leading portfolio of innovative products and intellectual property.
The patent was developed by GPSLockbox, with a focus on keeping drivers’ tablets and phones working in extreme climates by rethinking how fleets operate in fluctuating temperatures. The revolutionary invention incorporates heating and cooling elements into the vehicle-mounted cradle to quickly restore and enhance the smartphone and tablet’s ability to operate in extreme temperatures.
