As the largest pizza chain in the world, Domino’s operates more than 19,000 stores in over 90 markets around the world, selling an average of 3 million pizzas a day globally (and 2 million in the US on Super Bowl Sunday alone!)

They were one of the first to pioneer the concept of fast pizza delivery, and their service principles have become the industry-wide expectation that every pizza chain must match if they hope to stay competitive.

Today, GPSLockbox is helping Domino’s claim cutting-edge status for innovation and service once again.

Working with Domino’s Pizza, Geotab, and the Enterprise Fleet Management team, we’re leveraging our network of professional installation and deployment technicians to add state-of-the-art telematics and camera solutions for the eight-hundred 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV delivery vehicles that the pizza giant has just added to their US fleet.

These EVs will give Domino’s the largest electric-vehicle pizza delivery fleet  in the United States, and provide many advantages for local stores, including:

  • A 259-mile delivery range per charge
  • Zero tailpipe emissions
  • Advanced safety features
  • Decreased maintenance costs (compared to non-electric vehicles)

Increasing their fleet also means providing more employment opportunities for Domino’s delivery drivers who don’t have a car of their own.

By taking steps to minimize the financial impact of high gas prices, Domino’s Pizza can continue to offer its great products at a great price.

Pretty cool, right?

We at GPSLockbox are proud to play our small part in a large and impactful effort to make US businesses safer, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly, by adding value to vehicles that help to reduce the carbon footprint of major global corporations like Domino’s Pizza.

And, we look forward to improving the communications, security, and value of many more such businesses in the future.
